TL;DR - It is my first time buying a luxury watch online. I highly recommend Crown Timepieces, because I had an excellent purchase experience with them. Similar to most buyers, I hesitated to purchase a luxury watch online (for the first time). There are a few reasons: 1) Luxury watches are expensive but fragile; 2) There is no real-time experience with a watch (and its document); 3) Most important: trust, from both the platform and seller, if things go wrong. Because of these reasons, I did my homeworks before buying: 1) Chrono24 has an escrow service, which at least provides some levels of buyer protections, although I don't know how much it does. 2) I only looked for a professional dealer with customer ratings higher than 4.9 with 200+ reviews, and carefully analyzed all 3- stars comments to ensure I am comfortable with the seller's responses. 3) I looked for a seller that has sold more expensive and higher level watches than the one I wanted to purchase. 4) Seller must be in the U.S., so that I can trust the shipment in some sense. Crown Timepieces is one of the sellers that meet all my criterias on Chrono24. And the watch (IWC 7 days) I purchased was on their listing. So I decided to give it a try. The process went super smoothly. I had a couple of questions after submitting my order. Crown Timepieces answered my questions within 2 mins (5 stars communication). Then I was a little anxious, when waiting for the shipment for a day. However, the package was delivered one day before the estimated delivery day, although I received the shipment alert and delivery alert (My concierge signed my package) at the same time from Chrono24 (5 stars shipping). I examined the watch, and everything matches the description on the listing, including the original manufacturer box, the original papers, and the manufacturer warranty card which is two weeks before my purchase date and has an AD's stamp on it (5 starts Item description). In all, Crown Timepieces strongly exceeded my expectations. They earned my trust. I highly recommend Crown Timepieces for your next watch. And I am actually researching my second luxury watch on their listing now.

Always a little apprehensive buying on the grey market but this watch was truly new in box. I don’t think it had even been out of the box as it came in the original cardboard external box with the model as well as the standard omega white box and wooden inner box. Came with warranty cards which I already know are valid because I had to send in to omega for a sticking clasp less than two weeks after purchase. I am certain the seller would have worked with me to make it right despite the fact that I had worn it but I didn’t feel it was fair to them to expect that. Item shipped quickly, seller responded quickly (under 15 min both times I had questions) and was very professional. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again, in fact, have been keeping an eye out for other models I want to buy.
