The watch was new and perfect. I was a bit surprised and disappointed however with the dealer’s negotiation tactics. Understand that the Rolex market is very volatile at the moment, but in the world I live in, once you agree to a deal, you honor that regardless of how dynamics are changing. We had agreed to a price on the watch and then when I said I was ready to purchase (less than 24 hours later), I was then told the new price was $3,000 more with no explanation. When I inquired why they could/would not honor the originally agreed upon price they stated that that watch had been ‘sold’, but they had an identical watch for $3,000 more. Perhaps this is true, but felt very fishy to me. Nonetheless, the price was still within reason and other reviews were positive, so I proceeded with the transaction. In the end the watch was great and I am happy with purchase. But, wish the negotiation had been more transparent.

This seller did something unusual. They called before shipping the item maybe because it was a high end watch that was going to cost me a lot of money and they wanted to go over all the details if the watch before completing the sale. I had even already paid for the watch (in the escrow account) so I was ready for it. But the seller pointed out a very small effacement of an engraved part of the bezel that had been caused by polishing and buffing. Since I was buying the watch strictly as an investment for a trust account, I had to decline the sale and ask for a refund. The seller was very accommodating and explained that this was the reason he calls before shipping. I appreciated that. Saved a lot of hassle in shipping a return and trying to get my money back in a timely manner.

The GMT Master-II Batman was exactly as described, brand new and stunning. Love it. Only thing that could've been better was dealer's speed at responding to my questions (and thoughtfulness in the response, not just short 1 line responses with no context or details). No complaints otherwise.
