Everything was perfect except that shipment was made to a local FedEx store, not my house, which was not communicated clearly to me. As such I did not go into work the day of delivery, which could have been avoided. Otherwise perfect experience.

Watch was described as mint condition it had arrived with a few noticeable scratches particularly one on the face and tons inside the clasp. I do love the watch and its very hard to see any past use without closer inspection, but you definitely can see in the sunlight. It shipped in 3 days, being a recipient in another country no where is it written you'll have to pay duties, which caused some confusion when they held it at customs without telling me why until I called in. It was a great investment appraised at way more than I spent so either way i'm happy cuz it looks great too

Our communication was excellent. Joseph did a magnificent job getting back to me and I give him—personally—all 5 stars, knowing that not all outcomes were left up to him. There was one major issue with the watch: the seconds hand was incorrect for the 16710 and it took some conversation to get that swapped out with a correct one. I still wanted the wrong hand sent back upon removal, but they insisted on keeping it. Two minor issues with the watch: the crystal had been placed back on a bit crooked; and the date wheel had some kind of dust or mark (like a line through some of the numbers), but that was sorted out as well. It would’ve been better to have known these things in advance from the description because it wasn’t something one would tend to notice from the images. I have all of the original pictures and my own photos to support this. In return shipping, after sending the watch back to have these issues resolved, I found the bracelet had been reinstalled above the lugs on one end, leaving some avoidable scratches that had not been there before. What can one do? I don’t know. Fortunately, I was able to reseat the bracelet correctly and was also able to adjust the insert, which had been put back in a bit askew. There appears to be no damage beyond the scratches. Overall, I am pleased with this example of the Coke. The majority of the condition gives the appearance of the watch being nearly new. The rest of the condition was much better than most other iterations from 1999. It’s very hard to find these without a fair amount of metal missing from one or more lugs, but I am happy with the overall result. While I would be a bit more thorough in the future working with Stein on a nearly vintage piece, I’m sure this is a great place to buy modern watches and jewelry. Sometimes the pace of business can get in the way of noticing and caring for every detail of an older Rolex. Again, the service from Joseph, and Stein’s customer service staff, was excellent.
