At the beginning I had a few questions about whether I could get an invoice with German VAT from the dealer. Communication was good at the beginning, but after 2 or 3 questions I got the answer that the watch was suddenly sold and the dealer doesn't know if and when she will get the watch back, even though I had signalled my interest in buying it. The watch has also become more expensive. Building up pressure to sell is very unprofessional !!!!! We have had the watch for 3 weeks and it no longer runs. The battery is probably empty. The watch has never been worn.

I received the watch after realizing that it was held for a customs watch breakdown. When I received the watch, the rotor wasn't operating. When I notified this dealer, they said it wasn't their issue and that I would need to send my brand new watch to a Zenith service center. They told me that they have video of the rotor working and when I asked for the video they said it was for internal use only. What's the point of videoing a watch then if the customer can't verify it left in working condition. Why video it all then?

purchased this watch then I was kindly informed a few hours later, that it was in fact originally ordered for a specific customer, and that it was only one they could source and that they had to cancel my purchase, which I of course naturally accepted. Then 24 hours later, it is back for sale on chrono but 500 euros dearer. Sich die Haare raufen.

+ extremely fast shipping from Denmark to Germany + prompt communication The watch arrived with a flaw. It had a particle on the dial, which is not acceptable for a new watch. When I contacted the seller, he was not really concerned but rather told me that I had to take of this problem as this allegedly was a warranty case. Little did he know and acknowledge that the Omega warranty can only be used when the warranty is card is both stamped and dated. The card was not stamped because the shop is not an authorized Omega dealer. After three days of long communication and discussion the seller was not willing to provide any customer-oriented solutions. The seller asked me to send the watch back and “shoulder the prices” myself, which I could not understand nor accept. After my announcement of possible legal action the dealer accepted to send me a DHL return note. Normally, a good dealer would do everything for compensation. When I asked him to resell the watch for the same price, the dealer refused my request as the price for the watch had increased in the meantime. As a genuine watch collector I have never experienced such an unprofessional and stubborn dealer. I would definitely not recommend this shop to anyone that attaches importance to professionalism and customer orientation. He does not even know that the Omega warranty he is selling is not even valid when the watch has a damage. Please spare me from generic phrases apologizing as I do not take it seriously. Thanks.

Unfortunately the watch they sold as new wasn’t new, it had quite alot of scratches so I sent it back. A bit disapointing but hopefully I’ll be getting my money back soon.

This was an unfortunate mishap on our part, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. We do only sell new watches, but sometimes while handling issues can occur, which is not an excuse, and while we do very close and thorough inspections of the watches we send out, we did fail to notice this when we sent this watch was sent to you and this we can only say is a human error. But it is something we will be paying even closer vigilance to from here on out to ensure this does not happen again. We hope you will give us another chance to rectify the situation, and thank you for your understanding.

Watch was listed as 'new and unworn' photograph showed no marks or scratches. Reality was that the watch had a deep cut/scratch on one of the face lugs and was rejected as not being as described in the advert. The position of the cut was obvious and the dealer must have known it was there when the watch was advertised. A small discount was offered in light of the defect but as the watch was to be a present the discount was not accepted and the transaction did not take place.

Dealer's comment:

It's correct that it was listed as new and unworn, but someone in the company have mishandled this particular watch in the meantime from when the watch went on Chrono24 and the time you messaged us. Therefore we showed you the picture of the watch and if you would accept the scratch on the watch. At no time did we try to mislead you, but on the contrary did we inform you of the watch condition so you could make an educated decision on the watch. You decided to not go forward with the purchase, which is fine with us.
