The photos of the watch online were either of a different watch or had been edited to remove this watch's damage. While the packaging was sufficient to protect the watch, there was no receipt, invoice, proof of purchase, or other documents to legitimize the sale. The seller was nice and very responsive, but I ended up returning the watch.

Dealer's comment:

The watch was overhauled & polished before it was shipped out. The buyer expected a watch from 1972 to be brand new. Invoice / proof of purchase are issued electronically through chrono24's system. Watch was received back for a full refund.

Buyer received the watch within 3 days after the payment was cleared. Every question or concern were replied to immediately - within less than a 12 hours. In regards to item description - there were a few surface hairlines that the buyer mentioned he didnt see in the pictures. But nothing deep or not noticeable. A very light polish would make it look like new again.
