Item was described as "new in sealed box with box and complete papers" from a professional dealer. I actually thought I would be receiving a new item from an AD with a current warranty. Instead, I received an open box item that had clearly been out of its plastics. But worse, this was apparently a grey market resale, with an empty warranty card. Contacted the seller and the seller said that I should just contact the manufacturer who could authenticate the serial number. Which is exactly what I did, but the manufacturer refused to do so after I waited on hold for more than an hour. This was a purchase over $5,000 and the watch is supposed to have a three year warranty. But the dealer claims they "cannot remember when and from which AD" they actually purchased the item.

Dealer posted this item with the "suggest a price" feature active when they were not willing or able to negotiate on the price of this item. I submitted a reasonable offer which was rejected, and I have no issue with that except that it was a waste of time if they were not willing to negotiate to begin with on this item. The offer was rejected by the dealer and I accepted their counter offer (which was the original listing price). I proceeded to purchase the item at the dealer's terms and paid for it. Received a trusted checkout confirmation and a message from the dealer that the item had even been shipped! Then a little while later, I receive a message stating that the item "has been sold last night in store - my apologies". This apparently happened before the dealer even responded and declined my original offer. I would have completely understood if my offer had been rejected due to the fact that the item was sold. I do not understand why they would waste my time and theirs by proceeding with a sale transaction when the item clearly was no longer available. Bad experience. Will not try this dealer again. Hopefully you have better luck with them than I did!

Seller confirmed is new, never sized and no scratches. After I received he told me is a dealer showcase watch, for sure has marks and have been sized. Found scratches on case and strap. Seller said I switched the caseback and movement. And refused to refund and saying that I am a scammer. This seller so mean!
