Chrono24 makes it clear on all listings, whether those be our own listings or other sellers on the platform, that exotic leathers are restricted for export due to CITES restrictions and it is not possible for these to be included with international orders in most cases. Unfortunately, unless you have a lot of experience dealing with exotic leather, this may not be entirely clear to potential buyers. We are constantly reviewing the quality of our adverts and communication and have made changes to help future buyers. Was promised images of a watch prior to sale being finalised and posted out. That never happened…I was ghosted communication-wise and the watch was posted out without me agreeing to it. I expected more from Chrono24/Xupes

Chrono24 gave me the wrong information on the chat, and sent a 'Rolex' that was in a terrible state: corroded hands, the dial was not official rolex (blobs of white on the diamonds, diamonds didn't match up to the 6 o'clock position, the blobs were apparently the luminescent markers - they didn't glow), the crown was old and not official rolex, there were scratches on the bracelet. This watch had apparently gone through a full service. I raised these issues the morning after I received it (I got home from work very late that day), only received an apology 2 days after Chrono24 received the watch back. Had to chase them up so many times, it look them 4 days to even acknowledge that I needed to return the watch for a full refund. Also had to chase 3 times for a refund (which still hasn't processed). They finally admitted that all of the issues I had raised with the watch they had seen and that the watch should have never been listed or sold. Excuse me, what sort of company can process and order and send a £4.4k watch by accident? They even had the cheek to send me a private message with a few other rolex's they had in stock. Completely abysmal service as soon as they had received my payment. What had started as an exciting once-in-a-lifetime purchase in memory of my Dad is now completely ruined. I thought I had done my homework on this company, utterly disappointed. Looking forward to receiving my refund so I can close my account and don't have to deal with this company again. All confidence lost - especially as this was from Chrono24 directly, what chance do buyers have with other sellers in the platform if Chrono24 can't authenticate their own watch stock?!

With the Trusted Checkout payment process, as payment is made via an Escrow account, it can take time for Chrono24 to confirm payment has been received, and been verified through their independent checks and processing. As your order was received during our Winter Sale, we were experiencing a large number of enquiries and orders via our website. Sadly at the time, we had no way of immediately reserving an item without proof of payment being provided. Your feedback is important to us, and we are now working with Chrono24 to pursue building a system that will automatically update our website & Chrono24 when an order is received to prevent a similar situation happening again in the future. I did my utmost to ensure prompt communication throughout the transaction, and ensured that the refund was processed as soon as possible.
