I gave 1 star only because after 5 weeks of waiting and still had not been kept informed by this company and only after cancelling did they get in touch,if I could have given minus star I most certainly would have.

The watch was advertised as being in stock and delivery by 19th Dec latest. It was a Christmas present, or at least meant to be. On 17th Jan it still hasn’t arrived so have cancelled the order.

AVOID - definitely not worth the lowered prices. The worst customer service I have ever experienced, from start to finish just truly terrible. Sent the wrong watch - lied to constantly - Out of pocket - Over 2 weeks to get the correct watch - And the worst part is I was some how to blame for this whole mess “ The Customer “ seems like there are a few others that have experienced this service going by the reviews, this is NOT how purchasing a watch should be. Rick ( apparently supposed to be a manager ) Should not be working in customer service and really shouldn’t be selling watches if he / they don’t know what they are doing.

The listing said it would arrive within 2 weeks or so, more than 3 weeks later I get an email saying it hadn’t even been sent. Despite multiple messages spaced days apart I had recently gotten no reply.

There were several issues with this seller and I’d suggest prospective buyers think hard about whether the lower price justifies the potential problems before proceeding with their purchase. Issues comprised: (1) raising their price after I confirmed I was happy to proceed (my fault for continuing with the transaction post this in light of their price still being the lowest); (2) not fulfilling the transaction by the agreed date and ignoring my call / emails over the course of the week before the due date; (3) when I called I received a very curt and condescending response - something to the effect of, we’re not going to contact you with a status update we’ve got a hundred orders, you should contact us; I politely replied I’d emailed twice - no apology and a promise to return contact which was never fulfilled. Not really an appropriate approach for a high value transaction. I felt I had no choice but to cancel and buy elsewhere, which will cost me 2-3 months. Very disappointing.

Poor communication and no contact since point of order and payment. Order subsequently cancelled due to no contact after over 3 weeks of chasing through various channels. Waste of time

I would not recommend this dealer. I was given multiple assurances by Maxim in early December that the watch I wanted was indeed available to order and would be delivered by mid January. I paid for the watch on the 8th of December and received confirmation from Maxim on 16th December that the watch had been ordered (the dealer doesn't actually seem to hold any watches in stock). I then did not hear from Maxim ever again. I sent three further messages between 31st December and 22nd January asking for updates, all of which were ignored. I even asked Chrono24 if they would be able to reach the dealer on my behalf and their messages were similarly ignored. I did call the dealer's number for an update and Maxim was unavailable. I'm now doubtful that "Maxim" even exists. I eventually cancelled my order through Chrono24 support and will never purchase from this dealer again, and would advise others to avoid.

Didn’t have the item in stock even though advertised. Don’t reply to messages for days upon days, promised me delivery within 10 days. Was waiting 18 before I cancelled the order and only then did they try and contact me to discuss. If item is stocked then should be ok but they advertise 100s that they don’t even own.

Mir ging es wie dem vorherigen Kunden. Ich habe wahrscheinlich dieselbe Uhr geordert und keinen Kontakt herstellen können. Durch das Treuhandverfahren habe ich mein Geld zurück.

Nach Vertragsabschluss gab der Händler kein Lebenszeichen mehr von sich. Keine Rückmeldung, keine Stellungnahme, keine Uhr... Nie wieder!
