Such conditions are seldom replicated in daily life. Therefore, especially for used watches, the observed values may differ from those declared for new models.
Q) What is covered by our warranty?
A) Our warranty covers eventual malfunctioning of the movement. Should the watch have any problems, during the warranty period, we will repair it free of charge. The warranty is offered in our laboratory in Italy. In order to take advantage of the assistance, the watch must be sent, at the expense of the buyer, to our headquarters. Problems related to improper use of the watch are excluded from the warranty. Our warranty does not cover damage caused by water infiltration or flooding. Our warranty does not apply to new watches, in that case we will refer to the manufacturer who generally offers international warranty.

A) All chronograph watches with pump buttons and watches with screwless buttons are to be considered water resistant to 30 meters / 3Bar / 3ATM.
Water resistance is referred to as Bar (air pressure), ATM (atmospheres) or meters. When indicating that a watch is waterproof, this is often indicated in meters. The higher the number of meters, the more waterproof the watch is. But don't take the number of meters literally! It actually indicates how much pressure the watch can withstand. A watch with a water resistance of 50 meters / 5Bar / 5ATM is not suitable for swimming because a possible dive or the simple movement of the arms could result in a pressure higher than 5ATM on the components of the watch (at most you can wear it to take a shower).

Certified is our new certification service, where verified watchmakers check and certify the authenticity of watches purchased on our marketplace. We want to provide buyers of luxury watches on Chrono24 with a completely worry-free purchasing experience.
1. Inspection by a verified watchmaker
Before the watch is listed, it is certified by a verified watchmaker who works with/for the dealer. As part of the certification process, an authenticity check and a function test are carried out, among other things. See also: How is the watch tested?
2. Look for listings with the dark blue Certified icon
You can identify Partner Certified watches by the dark blue “C” icon in the search results pages and respective listings. Of course, you can also use the filters to find Certified listings faster. Once you've opted for a Certified watch, you'll be able to see if it's Partner Certified or Chrono24 Certified on the corresponding listing page. 3. Receive your certified watch including a digital certificate of authenticity
After successful certification, you can rest assured your new watch is genuine. This is confirmed by a digital Certificate of Authenticity and an authenticity guarantee. You can access the Certificate of Authenticity in your Chrono24 account after receiving the watch.

Chrono24 Buyer Protection provides complete security for your payment. If you buy from a professional dealer, we hold the purchase amount in our escrow account for 14 days after you have received your watch. That way, your money is safe and secure until you're fully satisfied with the watch. Only then do we send the money to the dealer. If you’re not satisfied, you can exercise your legal right of withdrawal and return your watch to the dealer within 14 days of receipt without giving a reason. If you purchased your watch from a private seller, we hold the purchase amount in our escrow account for 7 days after you have received your watch. Please note, however, that there is no legal right of withdrawal when purchasing from a private seller.

All Certified watches are comprehensively checked against specific criteria by a verified watchmaker. This is the only way we can guarantee the authenticity of your watch. The check includes the following:
Authenticity check: The authenticity of the watch is checked both inside and out. We also check to make sure the watch meets our definition of authenticity. See: How do we define authenticity?
Functionality check: We test the watch's complications, winding mechanism, chronograph function, and more. See: How do we define authenticity?
Scope of delivery check: All additional items, such as the original box and papers (if included), are checked for completeness and conformity with the model reference.
Theft check: The watch's serial number is checked against leading stolen watch databases. This ensures that the watch hasn't been stolen or otherwise lost by its rightful owner.

Every seller who sells certified watches through Partner Certified is pre-screened using a set of strict criteria. In addition to meeting these criteria, we ensure that the seller has sufficient experience selling watches and can demonstrate a high level of customer satisfaction. Through targeted audits, we also ensure that every watchmaker working with our partners has all the necessary qualifications and technical equipment available. Should any shortcomings arise during the certification process, we will of course hold the respective watchmaker responsible.
The Certificate of Authenticity is a digital document that cannot be lost, stolen, or damaged. Once you have received the watch, you will find the certificate in your Chrono24 account. After logging in, you can access it either under the menu item "Buy" or in your Watch Collection.
Our general return conditions apply to the return of Certified watches. If you buy from a professional dealer, you can exercise your legal right of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving the watch and you’ll receive your money back quickly and easily.
