The storied brand, Audemars Piguet, recognized tremendous potential of a business relationship with a rising star who defied great odds and inspired people all over the World. They partnered to mark his presence on the world Football stage with a limited run of watches, 41 mm Royal Oak Chronographs. The top of the line Platinum model with a Tantalum bezel, Blue Dial, and blue Croco strap is a clear homage to the flag of his home-country, Argentina. Only 100 pieces were made. Messi's story is a timeless journey from humble beginnings to the pantheon of footballing greatness. And the watch is no slouch either. Our offering is in very good, never polished condition. The previous owner took meticulous care of it. The watch was serviced by AP Authorized Service in 2017. The bezel shows light signs of wear. The case also shows a bit of wear at the 12 o'clock side. We intentionally left this watch in it's original, unpolished condition. It could be professionally refinished at no extra cost, should the buyer requests it. The AP official strap is as new and has lots of life. The movement times accurately and the watch is water proof.
