Description
This remarkable and substantial watch is completely new/old stock and dates to circa 1977/78. The watch was manufactured by the Croton watch company and is identical to their iconic 120M divers chronograph, which, with the exception of the dial markings, is absolutely identical.

These watches were very popular in the 1960’s and 1970’s for professionals and sportsmen alike, favored because of their robust and durable design, but also for their mechanical reliability.

The Croton watch company was one of the most popular Swiss brands of the 1960’s and 1970’s, known for their sports watches and for the high quality of their products. This watch really is right up there. The all stainless steel case is complimented by a gorgeous contrasting blue rotating Bakelite bezel and wonderful electric blue dial, with starburst silver sub dials.

This is not a watch to be missed, it is wearable as an everyday item at the same time as a functional sports watch. The iconic valjoux 7733 movement is running strongly and again new old stock.

The watch measures 38 mm, excluding the crown, so is extremely wearable and has a wonderful wrist presence without being over bearing. The contrasting orange hands against the stainless case and blue dial and bezel really give the watch an iconic appearance.

A real must have for the collector or investor, Valjoux sports watches are rocketing in value at the moment and this is a sure fire investment as well as a great daily wearer.
