A Swiss 18ct Rose Gold Perpetual Calendar Minute Repeater Chronograph Full Hunter Keyless Lever Pocket Watch Made for the Swedish Market, C1900.

Dial: The perfect white enamel dial with Arabic numerals outer minute track with five minute intervals, the day of the week in Swedish which is very different to find at twelve o'clock, the perpetual month cycle at three o'clock, the date at six o'clock and the moonphase and seconds dial at nine o'clock, which is also a very unusual aspect of this watch. The rose gold coloured hands on the watch are all original.

Case: The very heavy (162grms) 18ct rose gold case full hunter case with plain front and back covers. The inner cover is also plain. The cases are all Swiss Hallmarked and numbered. The slide for the repeater and the chronograph button are located on the side of the case.

Movement: The superb unsigned fully jewelled keyless lever movement with compensation balance, blued overcoil hairspring and slow fast regulation. The chronograph mechanism is fully visible on the black plate as are the hammers and gongs. The watch chimes the hours, quarters and minutes clearly.

This watch was specially made for a Swedish Client, as it is very rare to find the days of the week in Swedish. The other unusual aspect of the watch is that the phases of the moon are situated at the nine o'clock. Nearly all moonphase work was situated at six o'clock. This watch is an exceptional piece of Swiss craftsmanship and it would compliment one's collection.
