• Mermod Freres Primo 4 - Musical Watch •

This uncommon timepiece is creation for the well-known company based in Sainte-Croix, Switzerland. Detained now by the famous music boxes and singing birds manufacturer Reuge.

An elegant tonneau shaped case of 45,5mm in white gold reveals a stunning skeleton movement displaying the incredible musical mechanism with blue, golden and silver touches. The central silver hands indicates the hours & minutes on an inner bezel with four digits.

The complex movement developed plays four different melodies. The push-piece at 8 o'clock act as a selector like in the "juke boxes". The current melody playing is indicated by the red triangle at 6 o'clock. Four classics will play as : "The Magic Flute - From W.A. Mozart" - "Canon - From J. Pachelbel" - "Danse Hongroise - From J. Brahms" and "The Four Seasons – From A.Vivaldi".

The manual winding movement has a power-reserve of about 50 hours to let you play any of these classics as often as you want. The challenge to have an excellent quality when playing has been achieved by the Mermod Freres, you can judge by yourself when acquiring this extremely rare creation.
