A Rare Swiss 14ct Rose Gold Miniature Keyless Lever Quarter Repeater Full Hunter Pocket Watch C1900.

Dial: The excellent white enamel Roman numeral dial with outer minute track and subsidiary seconds dial at six o'clock. The original blued steel spade hands with matching blued steel seconds hand.

Case: The superb full hunter case with crisp engine turning to the front and rear of the case, a vacant cartouche to the front of the case. The inner case engraved Qualite Superieure Repetition A Quarts. The case is Swiss hallmarked for 14ct Gold and numbered. The repeater slide is on the side of the case.

Movement: The top quality gilt metal finished movement fully jewelled to the centre arbor, keyless lever, compensated balance, visable polished steel hammers strinking the hours and quarters on steel gongs.

This rare miniature full hunter quarter repeater is unusual because of it's size and of the pristine condition that the pocket watch is in. This watch can be classed as new old stock. This type of watch was the forerunner to making a repeating wristwatch.
