Description

Visionary interior architect and designer Alain Silberstein utilized his exceptional skills and love of all things Bauhaus to launch his eponymously named watch brand in 1990. Rightfully celebrated for his stunningly original and artfully playful timepieces, today these watches remain highly collectible as the brand closed its doors in 2012.

Created by one of the greatest contemporary watch designers, innovator, and craftsman, this Bauhaus timepiece by Alain Silberstein is poised to be a shining addition to your collection.

Silberstein’s extraordinary watches are inspired by his strong background in Bauhaus and avant-garde architecture, and all of his watches convey a stunning visual message.

First, the stainless steel case is wrapped in red alligator leather and measures 39.5 mm in diameter and a healthy 15 mm in height. It rests upon after-market red leather with alligator pattern imprint strap, complete with a stainless steel generic tang buckle. Additional features include a 50 m / 5 atm water resistance and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.

The pushers and winding crown are multicolored and sport a variety of shapes. The black-colored dial is alive in panoply of excitement. Note the yellow, red, and green hands that catch the eye and make this a timepiece to cherish. Applied luminous hour markers (and luminous hour / minute hands) make for easy viewing in low light.

As a self-winding automatic watch, this timepiece is driven by the rare Lemania 5100 caliber. An exhibition case back allows you to see this excellent movement in action.
From its limited-edition availability to its unique design and rare caliber, we are most pleased to offer this Alain Silberstein Krono Bauhaus watch here at very attractive price.

Standout feature(s): Limited-edition of only 250 pieces produced; rare Lemania 5100 caliber; unique, colorful hands and pushers, winding crown; fashionable leather-wrapped case.
