Rolex 6238 -"Pre-Daytona", stainless steel case, black gilt dial with GOLD minute marks and writing.
Comments:
This is a very unique stainless steel Rolex Oyster Chronograph Ref. 6238, known to collectors as the "Pre-Daytona" which was produced from 1962 until 1967 in approximately 3,600 examples - among the rarest of which being those watches with a black dial, such as the watch offered here. The watch has a beautiful original mint black dial, stainless steel markers, and stainless steel pushers. The case is in mint condition and the watch has been serviced. It comes on a high-quality brown alligator strap with a Rolex buckle, as well as the original stainless steel bracelet. Circa 1960's. PRICE UPON REQUEST. |
