The Alarm functions ring loudly within 1-2 minutes of indicated alarm hand on the dial. This is a pre-requisite when you are servicing Alarm time pieces, the Alarm functions must be within this parameter of 1-2 minutes. This is a Beautiful watch called "Sensilarm" by VULCAIN watch mfy. in Switzerland at this time, the company was facing it's stiffest challenges within the Swiss watch Industry, as a whole lot of copy-cat companies tried to make money on the rising popularity of the humble "Cricket" portable alarm wrist watch. Historically this feature was not available to be put on to the wrist, but it was the founder of Vulcain Paul Ditisheim, in Le Locle that spent all those years in the 1940's to perfect the movement, and the sound, this sound is called the Cricket due to it's uncannily straightforward representation of the sound of the Cricket on the mechanical plates. With this watch, the VULCAIN Watch co. tried to try many names so as to try and capitalize on the influence of the world markets, and mostly due in part, the infringements utilized many uncommon names but still used the terms Cricket. This is the original Cricket calibre 120- and even today, this watch is amazingly giving superb timing, and superb and may I call it rather LOUD alarm effects. Guaranteed to wake you up from the Deepest Slumber!
The Sensilarm features a QUAD guilloche dial that has several nice angles to look at.

Lovingly serviced to perfection in Victoria BC, at the Home of the "Cricket" my workshop caters to the best of the best of mechanical watch projects. The alarm watch by Vulcain is our favorite ! [Prem C. watchmaker/owner of PTC]

Size guide for wristbands

1 | Lug width

The lug width is the width of the strap at the end that is attached to the watch. This is the interior distance between the two lugs (horn-like protrusions) on the watch casing. The strap will fit your watch only if the lug width of the watch is the same width as the strap.

2 | Buckle width

The buckle width is the width of the strap at the buckle end. If you want to keep your watch’s original buckle and replace only the strap, the width of the original buckle must be identical to the strap width. For watches with folding clasps, please choose a strap specially made for your particular clasp.

3 | Strap length

The strap length is the combined length of the short strap side 3A (without buckle) and the long strap side 3B. For metal straps, the length of the strap including the clasp is measured in the closed position.

4 | Strap thickness

Strap thickness is the height of the strap. Many leather straps thin out towards the buckle end, or “taper”. If you want to keep your watch’s original buckle and replace only the strap, the strap thickness must match the height of the original buckle. For watches with folding clasps, please choose a strap specially made for your particular clasp.
