Description

This pre-owned, stainless steel Universal Genève Uni-compax (ref. 32416 - Cal. 285) watch is in a beautiful vintage condition and has perfect mechanical functionality. This watch has been fully serviced and it is covered by our warranty for twelve months. This vintage Universal Genève is from 1955 and it is guaranteed for authenticity.

The stainless steel, round case measures 37 mm.The face features a red telemeter scale in the first quarter, followed by a blue tachymeter scale. The cream dial has a unique patina, along with Arabic numerals, rose gold applied index markers, rose gold Dauphine hands and steel blue stick hands for the sub-registers and the chronograph hand. The latter features an elegant counter-balance, giving just the right hint of elegance to this otherwise sporty watch. This vintage Uni-compax comes on a brown Russian leather strap with a stainless steel tang buckle.

This Uni-compax is powered by the 17-jewel manual-winding Universal Genève Calibre 285, beating at a rate of 18,000 A/h. The movement was originally designed by Martel, and shared between the two and Zenith. With Universal Genève being the first maker of a wristwatch with two chronograph pushers, this stunning piece belongs to a prestigious horological lineage. As a vintage watch, we cannot warranty its current water resistance.
