Excellently preserved TUDOR Prince Oyster Date with a honeycomb dial, blued steel hands, and superb BREVET PLUS crown which is very coveted as the model would have had to be launched around this time of sale. This serial # on the outside of the case is pretty much eroded, but one can still make out the many digits [mostly] looks like a 122,832 Sr.3 or thereabouts. The date wheel/ring is a Red colored date disc, the model reference is 7914. i have had the good fortune of looking into several such detailed cases, and that, within this calibre like this one, it is a FEF 395 with date.
I have left the case AS-IS and preferred not to do any polishing on this time piece. The case back has significantly faded over the years, but one can make out the reference # easily, other details point to a late 1956 era, or a 1957 era.
The Small Tudor rose emblem is still crisp and clear, the date falls appropriately and one can surely imagine the worthiness or longevity of this particular time piece due to the fact that it is about 60 years old at this moment in time.
The watch is working nicely, and shows a plus/minus differential of only around a minute per day. This particular Tudor is a fairly large sized case and the lugs are 20 mm wide, this is about the only time in it's entire history a bigger lug Oyster Date Prince had these lugs, it was around 1955-1956. Since it has 20 mm lugs, our fabulous PTC Bespoke Submariners-Leathers, which are hand stitched and hand assembled, was possible to accompany the watch. **Grey Bespoke Leather strap** has a 16 mm stainless steel buckle.
The white based Honeycomb dial is excellently preserved, and the blued steel hands offset the ensemble quite neatly.
The movement is already recorded as being 60 years old, imagine the indestructible nature of it, 60 years old and still going strong ! A small intervention and parts repairs were carried out, nothing major needed.
The case is a robust stainless steel Oyster Prince case made by The Rolex watch co. The crown is slightly weakened over the years, and there is still a possibility that will continue, as there are enough threads on it to lock down appropriately. Please note this, I did not change it due to the fact the crown is super collectible, and has a BREVET +

Please note that we do not send shipping into *ASIA-AFRICA-S.AMERICA* Do also take the time to read up on my GTC page, for more information on how to purchase the documants.

Size guide for wristbands

1 | Lug width

The lug width is the width of the strap at the end that is attached to the watch. This is the interior distance between the two lugs (horn-like protrusions) on the watch casing. The strap will fit your watch only if the lug width of the watch is the same width as the strap.

2 | Buckle width

The buckle width is the width of the strap at the buckle end. If you want to keep your watch’s original buckle and replace only the strap, the width of the original buckle must be identical to the strap width. For watches with folding clasps, please choose a strap specially made for your particular clasp.

3 | Strap length

The strap length is the combined length of the short strap side 3A (without buckle) and the long strap side 3B. For metal straps, the length of the strap including the clasp is measured in the closed position.

4 | Strap thickness

Strap thickness is the height of the strap. Many leather straps thin out towards the buckle end, or “taper”. If you want to keep your watch’s original buckle and replace only the strap, the strap thickness must match the height of the original buckle. For watches with folding clasps, please choose a strap specially made for your particular clasp.
