Movement: mechanical with automatic winding, Lange Caliber L 921.2 "SAX-O-MAT"; 36 jewels, 21,600 vph, glucydur screw balance, Nivarox spring with goose-neck fine adjustment, beat adjustment via regulating screw; bi-directionally winding decorated 3/4 rotor in 21 karat gold and platinum with 4 ball bearings in reduction train; power reserve approx. 46 hours; bridges decorated with Glashutte ribbing.
Functions: hours, minutes, subsidiary seconds (at 6 o'clock); facility to stop seconds with automatic return to zero of second hand (zero reset) by withdrawing the crown.
Case: platinum, 37 x 8.6 mm (excl. lugs & crown); sapphire crystal; back secured with six screws with sapphire crystal exhibition window.
Dial: enameled (very rare and hard to produce); black painted Roman numerals (except at 12, which is red) and railway minute track; blued lance hands.
Strap: black alligator with matching Lange platinum buckle.
