Purchased direct from the original ex Comex employee, Most of us are aware Comex received their last batch of Rolexes in 1997 but the facts have now come to light that Henri Delauze in 2004 ordered an additional batch of 14 watches of which only 3 were Sea-Dwellers and the rest Submariners, making this the smallest ever batch delivered by Rolex.This particular watch has only been worn half a dozen times and is fitted with its original Comex dial and caseback with its unique engraved Rolex Comex and four digit issue number. Most of the 14 watches Comex held back the original Guarantee papers but this watch comes with them stamped Comex SA, punched 115 code and F serial, also stamped on front of papers "Compagne Maritime D'Expertises". Totally complete with all accessories and owners letter.
