Movement: mechanical, manual winding, A. Lange & Sohne Caliber 943.1; 26 jewels; 21,600 vph; glucydur screw balance; Nivarox spring with swan neck fine adjustment; beat adjustment via regulating screw; power reserve approx. 45 hours; Glashutte three-quarter plate; bridges with Glashutte ribbing.
Functions: hours, minutes, small seconds, moon phase.
Case: 950 platinum, in 3 parts, polished and brushed finished; 35.9 x 8.4 mm (excl. lugs & crown); flat sapphire crystal; platinum crown with embossed logo; case back attached by 6 screws, with sapphire crystal exhibition window, engraved "Hommage a Emil Lange 1849-1922". Water-resistant to 30 meters.
Dial: solid silver, black (obtained by a galvanizing process); applied star and round markers and Arabic numeral 12 in platinum; printed railway minute track; seven gold hemispheres, rhodium-plated, applied in the pattern of the constellation of the Great Bear (the Big Dipper); Alpha hands in platinum.
Indications: small seconds (with stopping device) at 4, moon phase at 8.
Strap: black alligator, hand stitched; matching platinum buckle.
