This Exceptionally serviced and completely battle ready Omega Speedmaster Professional Chronograph MOON WATCH has a calibre 861 with a 32 million serial number, the movement was created in 1972-73 [Source is the legendary Chuck Maddox's serial number system] There are a few great variations on this time piece, but the Moon watch for what it is, can be surmised as a very exceptional tool watch, this 1970's version movement had to have a complete case change as it had a previously damaged case. The case work was done through a Omega dealership in Germany, all the relevant paperwork has been enclosed with this watch as it has all the hallmarks of this excellent 1980's and the Moon watch at this time was a very solid piece of foundation in the company's history. The case is dated from 1990's
At this time however, the movement the legendary calibre the 861 ceased to exist, and for reference the calibre then transformed into the c.1861 and it is still available as we see it today, so the big thing is the vintage quality of the movement, the parts, and the service I have done. Well I can truly assure you this watch has had the extra special treatment, and has a movement performing under +/- 5 seconds per day!

There are two to three excellent watch straps with this offering, and you may well remark, they capture the essence of the Moon Watch rather well, the one on it right now is a Dark/ Blue/Grey vintage style colored strap with a Italian hand stitch finish, all hand made in the USA, the next one is a Tan colored and shaved selvedge outer lined [again, hand made] beauty of a strap. If you have a need for any special colors, or for any exceptional Moon Watch straps, ask me, or send me a question. I have dozens of colors.

Please note that we do not ship to *ASIA-AFRICA-S.AMERICA* Do take the time to read up on my GTC page for more information on how to purchase this excellent Omega Speedmaster from us.

Size guide for wristbands

1 | Lug width

The lug width is the width of the strap at the end that is attached to the watch. This is the interior distance between the two lugs (horn-like protrusions) on the watch casing. The strap will fit your watch only if the lug width of the watch is the same width as the strap.

2 | Buckle width

The buckle width is the width of the strap at the buckle end. If you want to keep your watch’s original buckle and replace only the strap, the width of the original buckle must be identical to the strap width. For watches with folding clasps, please choose a strap specially made for your particular clasp.

3 | Strap length

The strap length is the combined length of the short strap side 3A (without buckle) and the long strap side 3B. For metal straps, the length of the strap including the clasp is measured in the closed position.

4 | Strap thickness

Strap thickness is the height of the strap. Many leather straps thin out towards the buckle end, or “taper”. If you want to keep your watch’s original buckle and replace only the strap, the strap thickness must match the height of the original buckle. For watches with folding clasps, please choose a strap specially made for your particular clasp.
