Detailed description

The present Omega Constellation chronometer was manufactured in Switzerland in the 1990s. The watch is fitted with a quartz movement and displays the hour, minute, second, date and day of the week. The golden dial has golden hands. The bezel is gilded and shows black Roman numbers. The stainless steel case is gilded in parts and comes with a black leather strap with pin buckle.

The chronometer is in good condition with small traces of age and use, especially regarding the leather strap. The diameter of the casing is 32 mm and the height measures 5 mm. The strap length is 19 cm and the lugs measure 18 mm in width. The watch has not been tested, because the battery needs to be exchanged; long-term precision and regularity cannot be guaranteed.

In addition, Omega is the world leader in precision records and sports event timing. Participating in the Olympics 24 times, the company is known as the official sports event timer. With the introduction of the exclusive Omega Co-Axial caliber, Omega introduced the first practical escapement in almost 250 years. (cbo)
