Jaeger LeCoultre, often referred to as the “watchmaker’s watch brand” is well-regarded as one of the best and most storied brands in the world, still churning out top-quality and high-end watches to this day. During the vintage heyday of the 1940s and 1950s, JLC was so far ahead of the curve that many other brands would often have them produce watch movements and parts for their own watches.

During World War II, while other brands limited their production and were hesitant to design new, innovative watches and movements, JLC moved forward, business-as-usual. From 1943 to 1949, they produced what many believe to be their most attractive watch design to-date: the triple-date calendar watch.

This particular example is in near-mint condition, with a beautiful white dial. The dial has minor marks, specifically around the date track, consistent with use. The case is made in stainless steel, which was uncommon for this model, and not often seen.
