Gents Jaeger LeCoultre Duometre A Quantieme Lunaire in 18K rose gold, Ref#6042521. On original reptile strap with 18K rose gold tang buckle, sapphire display caseback, 40.5mm case diameter. Manual winding movement nicknamed the "Dual Wing" powered by 2 separate mechanisms that drive seperate features of the watch (time and the calendar related complications) each with 50 hour power reserve which are independant of each other. Silver dial with off center time display, large central sweep seconds, sub dial to the left features date indicated by blue hand pointing to outer perimeter of sub dial which points to black Arabic and index date marker (date can be advanced with top left button), moonphase indicators printed in gold color on inner perimeter of the sub dial shows the current moonphase in the southern hemisphrere on one end and the moons age using numbers on the other end, moonphase for the northern hemisphere is indicated by the blue colored disc viewable in the cutout at the top of the sub dial, two seperate 50 hour power reserves (blue hand represents power reserve of the time mechanism by winding crown clockwise and rose hand represents the power reserve of the calendar functions by winding crown counter clockwise), 1/6th of a seconds sub dial at 6 o'clock position, time can be set to the second due to the 'Stop Seconds' feature, by pulling the crown out a single click the 1/6th of a seconds hands stops at 0 and another small pull on the crown resets the large seconds hand to 0, once time is set and crown is pushed back in, both seconds hand will start from 0. Box and papers dated Jan. 2014. Excellent condition.
