Zenith El Premiro: A Legendary Collection

Introduced in 1969, the Zenith El Premiro movement claims the position to be one of the first developed self winding chronograph movement. The design of the El Premiro timepieces is inclined towards a simplistic look with developed mechanical movements. With the changing phase of time, there are a number of models available in the collection depending on the choice of the individuals.

The Zenith El Premiro timepiece line incorporates a series of models including Tourbillon, Chronomaster Open, Striking 10TH, 36’000 VPH and Rattrapante. The Chronomaster Open is one of the major timepieces in the El Premiro series housing top notch features like a 50 hour power reserve indicator with a 36’000 VPH chronograph movement.

El Premiro: A Classical Tradition

Fashioned in an elegant and simplistic fashion, the El Premiro Chronomaster is a masterpiece collection incorporated in the Zenith flagship. The classical design of the timepiece is well complemented with the round case styled in a graceful pattern. Accomplished with a silver dial, the timepiece is furnished with a round case, plain markers and hour hands with shining stainless steel polish.

Powered with a calibre 410 movement, the timepiece works on 36000 VPH (Vibrations per Hour) and houses a power reserve up to 50 hours in its store. Featuring high end chronograph functions, the watch also houses a triple calendar of day, date and month with a moonphase positioned on the dial surface. The dial has been shielded with a sapphire crystal glass making it gleam in the sun.

Besides the El Premiro Chronomaster, the other iconic timepiece assimilated in the Zenith lineage is the El Premiro Striking 10th. The watch has been styled with a sporty look making a perfect accessory on a casual wear. In line with the versatility of the creation, the timepiece is available in a rubber or alligator strap but can also be replaced with a stainless steel bracelet.

Exhibiting considerable semblances to the classical timepieces of the 1960s and 1970s chronographs, the timepiece delivers an accurate time up to 1/10th of a second.
