Designed on the lines of classic “Le Mans” style, Tag Heuer Monaco is one of the most liked sports collection in the Tag Heuer series. It comes in a classy blue colored and square shaped dials, giving it a mysterious and a passionate feel. The popular watchmakers employ the square shape in the designing of the Monaco timepieces.
The Tag Heuer Monaco collection assimilates three models in its series which include Automatic, Automatic Chronograph and Monaco 69. The Monaco 69 version may also have a quartz movement version. Commemorating the 40the anniversary of the iconic collection, the Monaco collection launched the limited edition of the cushion shaped chronograph watches. Developing a fashion line of exclusive models limited to 1000 timepieces, the latest model incorporated in the series make the watchmaking art experience new zeniths.
Rejuvenating the success of the original model of the 1970s which graced the wrists of Steve McQueen in the 1971 classic, Le Mans, the Monaco enjoys a cult status in the Tag Heuer lineage. The designer timepieces have been outfitted with red and blue colors marking a special presence on the wrists. Complementing the style of the classical timepiece, the wristlet has been graced with a blue leather strap.
Placing it in the bestseller category, the timepiece is also available with an additional blue alligator strap giving it a stylish look. With the round shape of the dial, the square shaped case improves the legitimacy of the timepiece. Powered with a calibre 11 automatic mechanical movement, the original Heuer logo can be seen positioned on the dial.
With the engravings of the “In tribute to Steve McQueen-Jack Heuer”, the Monaco limited edition exhibits the tradition and class in an ultimate style. Designed to endure the roughness of the racing track, the watch is housed in a 38mm case size shielded with a sapphire crystal glass. With a water resistance capacity up to 100 meters, the dial provide a clear an accurate readability of the time with two sub dials positioned on the dial surface. The designing pattern of the watch takes to the alleys of the bygone era of the 1970s.
