TAG Heuer Carrera.
The former company ’Heuer’ was founded in 1860 by Edouard Heuer in St-Imerie. Later ’Heuer’ was taken over by the French company ’Technique d’Avant Garde’ (TAG). This French company was a producer of many hightech products, like turbochargers for Formula 1 cars. After ‘Technique d’Avant Garde’ took over the former watch company ‘Heuer’, the name of the company was changed into TAG Heuer. The TAG Heuer Carrera collection was designed by Jack Heuer in 1964. This sporty watch was dedicated to a legendary motorrace. The Carrera Panamericana in Mexico which took place from 1950 to 1955. Also the ‘Porsche Carrera’ was named after this legendary race. Today the Carrera-watches are a series of TAG Heuer’s icons that are admired by many people. Also the famous actor ’Leonardo DiCaprio’ is an admirer of the TAG Heuer Carrera.
