The Submariner, introduced in 1953, was the first watch to be water resistant to 100 metres (330 feet). It was later strengthened by its patented triple-seal Triplock winding crown, making it capable of withstanding depths of up to 300 metres (1000 feet).The Rolex Submariner Date in stainless steel. 40mm case size with sapphire crystal glass and waterproof to 300m. This is a 2004 watch and in pristine condition. A truly iconic watch. This watch has been around for over 50 years and is a superb timepiece to own.
