The Rolex Daytona with the Paul Newman Black dial is a perfect balance of sporty and elegant. Rolex designed and built this caliber as the best chronograph movement that could be manufactured. They concentrated on technical excellence (long lubrication life, long service intervals and minimizing friction), timekeeping excellence (C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer) and serviceability (the watchmakers can service and/or repair the caliber easily). The dial is black "Paul Newman" which offers a unique red ring around the exterior of the dial as well as a beautiful red center second hand.There are 30 minute and 12 hour chronograph totalizer subdials along with a running seconds subdial.
