Comments: This vintage Rolex Cosmograph Daytona chronograph in 18k yellow gold with original and nice Paul Newman dial is just beautiful. Original case is 18k yellow gold with dimensions of 37mm diameter by 13.5mm thick. Chronograph pushers are round pump style and are working perfectly, with a tight click and exact reset to the zero position. Bezel is original and has a “Units per Hour” scale from ‘50’ to ‘200’. Original movement is the manual winding Rolex Caliber 72B with seventeen jewels and adjusted to three positions. This caliber features column wheel construction, which is acknowledged to be the superior mechanical and aesthetic approach to building a chronograph movement. The movement is clean and beautiful and running perfectly. Today, the Paul Newman Daytona (the watch and the dial) is the most coveted and collectable vintage watch in the world. This dial is guaranteed original and authentic. Dial is in perfect condition. Bracelet is solid 18k Rolex riveted Oyster bracelet with folding clasp. |
