The Patek Philippe reference 3990P is rare and highly collectable. The 3990 is a reference 3970 with baguette diamond bezel. The 3990 is the pre-cursor to the Patek reference 5971. The 3970 is a perfect execution of the perpetual calendar and chronograph pairing, which Patek invented. The rarity factory is raised astronomically by its configuration as a 3990 with the diamond bezel.

Platinum case with baguette diamond bezel is 37mm diameter by 13mm thick. Sapphire front and display back crystals. Pump style chronograph pushers.

Black dial with applied diamond markers with baguette marker at 12 o’clock. The calendar functions are day, month, date, moonphase and leap year cycle. Thirty minute chronograph totalizer subdial at 3 o’clock and the nine o’clock subdial provides constant seconds and 24 hour time.

Beating inside is the outstanding Patek Philippe Caliber CH 27 70 Q with the Geneva Seal proudly stamped on its bridge. Technical details: 24 jewels, 353 individual parts; 60 hour maximum power reserve, Gyromax balance beating at 18,000 beats per hour.

Black Patek crocodile strap with Patek tang buckle.

Watch is in mint condition with box, papers, setting stylus and solid case back.
