Patek Philippe & Cie, Genève Ref. 2526. Production of this reference started in 1953.Very fine and rare, water-resistant, self-winding, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch. Watch recently serviced by Pate in Geneva at a cost of $6000 plus. Reason for the high cost is a new enamel dial supplied by Patek. Watch will come with new Patek strap.
Case: Two-body, solid, polished, screwed down case back, with double PP crown.
Dial: Off-white enamel with raised yellow gold indexes, subsidiary seconds dial. Yellow gold "Dauphine" hands. This dial was just replaced by Patek in Geneva and yes it is enamel and perfect
Movement: 1st Automatic made by Patek Cal. 12-600 AT, stamped with the Geneva Quality Hallmark, rhodium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 30 jewels, straight line lever escapement, Gyromax balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, shock-absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, "swan-neck" micrometer regulator, 18K gold rotor.
Dial, case and movement are signed. 36mm in diameter.
Watch is in excellent condition, case hallmarks are strong, Dial is perfect with no hairlines or imperfections, movement is clean and runs strong.
