All Original and Barely Worn! Can't be too many of these out these. And maybe not another in this outstanding condition! This C-1950’s Omega Seamaster was made as a 30-year presentation watch for an employee of the Chicago tribune. The original finish dial even has the Chicago Tribune building printed right at the center. Very cool! Even better still: this watch came to us on its original Omega signed leather strap with its original signed buckle. When a 50's watch still has its original leather strap, you know it hasn't been worn much.

It features a great looking (and HEFTY!) high polish 14K gold filled case (34.5 X 40.3 mm) with an engraved screw on caseback. It even has its original Omega signed Seamaster crown. The signed gold case is in very good condition, showing really minimal signs of wear for a 60-year-old watch. There is some wear to the caseback only and it is from someone who wasn't too handy with a case wrench or a polishing wheel. It's not too bad and can not be seen when worn. The dial features BIG faceted gold applied markers and its original matching hands. The Tribune building rests just below the Omega signature at 12 o’clock. It looks outstanding with its original finish and just a very slight touch of aging. The movement is a PRISTINE Omega in-house cal. 354 with 17 jewels, with bumper automatic winding and a micrometer regulator. These were built like tanks and even today, they are still good timekeepers. Plus they’re just beautiful movements!

The watch comes fully serviced including a new mainspring and a new crystal, and is keeping very good time. The watch comes with its original Omega signed brown leather strap with signed Omega buckle. To preserve the originals, we installed a brand new high grade Italian bull leather strap.

This listing is for the watch only. No original box or papers.
