Here we have a very Rare Minerva chronograph wristwatch from the 1930’s with an IN HOUSE Minerva movement, a unique case design, and an original finish copper dial.

The stainless steel case features large extended hooded lugs. It measures 32.8mm across without the crown or pushers and 42.7 mm from lug tip to lug tip. It really wears much bigger with the extended, big hooded lugs. The case also features its original tapered steel chronograph pushers.

The original finish, untouched copper colored dial is signed Minerva with Roman numeral and luminous hour markers. Completing the look are the original blued steel hands that look great against the copper finish dial.

Features a very rare (and early) Minvera IN HOUSE caliber 20CH movement featuring a column wheel chronograph. Take a look at the pictures. Beautifully finished and all the steel chronograph levers and springs have beveled edges. Very unusual and a sign of great quality!

The watch just been fully serviced. The case was completely disassembled and ultrasonically cleaned, but the finish was left as original. Considering its age at around 80 years old, the condition is outstanding with only minor signs of use. We thought this was best left alone. The movement was fully overhauled, during which we installed a new mainspring and a brand new old stock beveled edge glass crystal. The crystal makes the dial look great and allows for a clear image right to the edge.
