Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso: Return of an Era

Taking the complains of the British army officials in India in 1920, the company created a reversible case resistant of any damage due to shock. The roots of the Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso were laid in 1931 when the company also patented the model under its flagship.

Marking its 80th anniversary in 2011, the Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso unveiled an ultra slim new model, “Tribute to 1931”. In the meanwhile, there have many brands and models which have been designed on the line of the Reverso but the supremacy of the original Reverso is clearly evident in the Jaeger LeCoultre new collection.

Reverso: An Iconic Timepiece

Celebrating the iconic status of the rich Reverso heritage, the JL unveiled the classic timepiece in a new fashion. Since the timepiece creation in 1930s, the watch line has seen many transitions and Reverso Duo is one of the most alluring models available in the market at present.

Making a shift from the original Reverso model, the present Dual timepiece is designed with dual faces making it an interesting watch. The watch has been surfaced with two dial faces exhibiting different time on the two dials. The watchmaking art touches new zeniths with the two dials housed with two manual winding mechanical movements.

The Reverso Duo is available in steel and gold version and this exquisite timepiece, it is supported with a comparatively moderate case size of 9.5mm. The original Reverso impression can be felt with the square dial embellished with a guilloche face. It also houses the secondary dials echoing the traditional style of the timepiece.
