Gents steel Jaeger-LeCoultre Geophysic Universal Time Q8108420. Polished steel case, 41.6mm in diameter. Water resistant to 50 meters. Silver and blue lacquered dial with map of the world with index hour markers. The outer city disc is fixed so that the eye of the wearer can easily find the time zone of interest. Local time can be adjusted, independently of the minutes and seconds so avoiding any loss of precision. Automatic 772 calibre movement with a Gyrolab balance, and True Second "ticking seconds hand" complication.( the in-house made mechanical movement inside of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Geophysic has a seconds hand which ticks rather than sweeps.) 274 components. 28,800 VPH. 40 hour power reserve. Targeted to world travellers, the new watch can be adjusted in a very intuitive manner operating on the crown rather than using a push button. In neutral position the crown winds the movement, in position 1 it sets the 24-hour mobile disc to reflect the time in the city where the wearer is currently located, and in position 2 it controls the hours and minutes. Once the universal time has been set, there is no need to adjust it while travelling. Black croc strap with steel double folding clasp. Pre-Owned Unused. Box and papers dated 2016.
