Highly collectable C-1940 Hamilton Seckron “Doctor’s Watch” in 14K gold fill. The offwhite dial features an original finish with the hour track on top and seconds on the bottom.

The Seckron was originally produced as a doctor’s tool watch for taking pulses. Not considered to be a daily wear or a dress piece, so very few were produced. The original finish offwhite dial features bold, Gothic Arabic markers, along with its original blued steel hand set.

, original finish dial features its original matched blued steel hands and bold gothic Arabic numbers.

The elongated case measures 22.4mm across excluding the crown, and 38.6mm from lug tip to lug tip. The watch is powered by Hamilton’s own caliber 980B movement with 17 jewels and manual winding.

For 76 years old... This watch is in really nice, original condition. It’s certainly been worn; there is some aging to the dial finish, as well as some wear to the watchcase. But still far better than what one would expect to see from a 1940’s timepiece.

The photos below are of the watch in its current, unrestored condition.
