Christiaan Van Der Klaauw "Planetarium" Annual Calendar in 18K Rose Gold with Special Edition Glashutte Original Movement.

Ultra Rare and Desirable!

Grand Complication

All Sold Out. Extremely Rare. One of the most collectible independent high horology pieces ever

Van Der Klaawu is a creative genius that introduces fantastic astronomical elements to modern watch making, combined with superb finsihing. He is in the same creative league as Urwerk, Christophe Claret and MB&F.

The Planetarium is one of the most complicated watches ever created by CVDK

If you are looking at this, then you are true connoisseur, this piece is a true collector's dream.

There are few planetariums out there, and out of them, most of them have the modified ETA base movement with CVDK's module. This piece, instead of using ETA base, uses the far more expensive and prestigious Glashutte Original base movement. It's more beautifully finished.

Features: An annual calendar with the month and the date, 3 dimensional planetarium at 12'O clock location that shows the relative placement of Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn around the sun.

In mint, like new condition, carefully owned by a collector and worn for a handful of times to special events. Comes with original dark blue Van Der Klaauw crocodile strap and rose gold buckle. Sorry but the box and papers are misplaced.

Dial: Beautiful finished gold dial with two separate patterns of guilloche.

Dimension: measure 40mm without crown. 42mm with crown.

Weighs a solid 117 grams.

Exactly as shown in photos. We only use photos of the actual watch

sell for over $60,000 on the secondary market. This should be more valuable due to its especially limited nature.
